Joseph Zeiss grew up in a Christian environment, but always went back and forth, between if he was saved and going to Heaven, and a huge fear of being sent to Hell on Judgment Day.  After attending Christian high school, he began working in a "secular environment", and wondered where God was.  Did he miss Chapel, was it because his coworkers weren't saved or was he not saved.  He ended up going to a Christian College to try to find God and figure it out.  That led him meeting Dr. Henry Krabbendam, a Bible teacher who was very loving, Holy, and authoritative.  Dr. K took him to Africa on a missions trip to help Joseph further.  After three years at the college Joseph left heartbroken that he had not found God.  He had definitely experienced Him, but not found and kept Him.  Eventually, at age 26, he finally found Who He was looking for!!!  He gave His whole being to Jesus and was radically converted.  The book tells his story of troubles, seeking God, finding God, and the suffering and joy afterward. 
Many people are like Joseph Zeiss, they have experienced God, but have not found Him in total.  If you want ALL of God, you must give ALL of you to Jesus.  God must do it, so pray.  But, you also must seek with your whole heart, and you will find all of God, and His Presence will NEVER leave.
No one just is a Christian, or just becomes a Christian.  I don't care who you are, if it is not a radical conversion that changes everything, where you die to sin, and ACTUALLY become a New Creation, it isn't a real conversion.
If you want ALL of God and want the high of a worship experience or missions trip to last, you must give your life fully to Jesus!  It is the VERY BEST THING TO HAPPEN TO ME.  In the midst of suffering immensely, it is a piece of cake with Jesus.

Pujols and his wife are Christians. He became a Christian on November 13, 1998, influenced in part by Deidre and his grandmother.[207][208] One of his writings on his family's foundation's website states, "In the Pujols family, God is first. Everything else is a distant second." He writes,
"My life's goal is to bring glory to Jesus. My life is not mostly dedicated to the Lord, it is 100% committed to Jesus Christ and His will. God has given me the ability to succeed in the game of baseball. But baseball is not the end; baseball is the means by which my wife, Dee Dee, and I glorify God. Baseball is simply my platform to elevate Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior."[209]
During his tenure with the Cardinals, Pujols and his family attended West County Community Church, a Southern Baptist church in Wildwood, Missouri.[208]
