Editing credits by Joel Barrios Many times I get sad and depressed and sometimes it feels like nothing I'm doing for God matters. As I write this, I realize it is obviously the enemy telling me that. God cares about what we do for Him, and more importantly about us also. I get depressed, lonely, and bored many times.
Something I have noticed, that I often forget when I'm struggling; is that God always shows up in His perfect timing. However, it may not be right away or in the way we think, but He always shows up to help us when we most need it. On a grand scale, on our daily lives; the question is will we be faithful until the end? When I say, God shows up in the perfect moment; I am meaning that He shows up in a special way to encourage or help us. Therefore, it is very important to remember that God is everywhere and He never leaves us. He is with those who are seeking to be saved and lives inside whoever has surrendered their entire lives to Him. Undoubtedly, we all need Him to come in when we need Him most. God may send an encouraging song or may take away the fear and doubt, or He sends someone to encourage us. It is our job to wait on the Lord and to be faithful until He comes through. Sometimes I forget that God allows us to struggle so we may gain strength and eventually He will do something to help us have faith. Romans 15:4 For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. 1st Peter 5 Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. May we look to Jesus for encouragement and keep following Him because He loves us! Have a Godly Great Day!!

Nine years ago this month Jesus saved me. After years of seeking (some get saved quickly, don't give up). I heard the Gospel and knew I wasn't a part of God's family, I was a sinner, and would go to Hell. I was a "pretty good Christian", but that wouldn't cut it. I knew I had to give my whole life to Jesus, to rule me forever, as the Holy Loving God and Friend He IS. I said in my heart, "Jesus from now on whatever You say to do I will do". Then I walked forward to say it to the world.
Alot of ups and downs. Wouldn't trade Jesus for the world. Thank You Jesus for You. Thank You Jesus for Your Holiness, Love, and Faithfulness. I Love You Jesus!!!!!! Happy Anniversary!!!!! I hope you also give your life to Jesus! God Bless! Don't give up! Love You Jesus Loves You!!! Have a GodlyGreatDay!!! For thus said the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel,
“In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength.” I was anxious about posting last night. I thought that I needed to make sure I post every day. Then I thought of this verse and it put me at ease. Then I thought I should get up and post about it. LOL. I was going to post about rest, when I wasn't doing it! It's true that we need to do everything to our best for Jesus, but we also need to rest in Him. And the key to knowing when to rest is also Jesus. Pray without ceasing. Jesus will lead us in all things. Jesus, please help us to rest in You. Whether we are fighting sin and temptation and trying to get saved, or whether we are dealing with good times or persecution for Your sake. We give it all to You. You alone can save from sin and Hell. You alone can save from enemies and trouble. We look to You. We trust You. Help us to seek You with all our heart. Help us to trust You with all our heart. We love You Jesus. Please save us and help us. And then help us to rest. LOVE YOU JESUS!!! JESUS!!!!! For thus said the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, “In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength.” Love You Jesus Loves You!!! Have a GodlyGreatDay!!! Out with sacrificing for God. On to doing His Will.
Before i became a True Christian, I would do things for God and try to be a good Christian. When I fully gave my life to Jesus, I began always asking what He wanted. Instead of me trying to figure out what good thing to do, or how to sacrifice for God, now I have the Holy Spirit inside who leads me in the will of God. The Author of the Bible, living in me, does a way better job than I would. In Hebrews it says the same when it quotes Psalms. Hebrews 10 says, "When he said above, “You have neither desired nor taken pleasure in sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings” (these are offered according to the law), then he added, “Behold, I have come to do your will.” He does away with the first in order to establish the second. And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all." So we don't sacrifice for God and try to do His will, we instead give our whole life to Jesus and receive His Holy Spirit, so we know exactly what to do and when. Instead of Jesus being something included and something we try to attain. Jesus now becomes the driver of the car, directing us into His exact will. Jesus said on that day, many will say Lord Lord, we did all this stuff for You and in Your Name... Jesus replies with, you are sinners and didn't do My Will. You must have a moment, a point in time, when you KNOW you have given your life to Jesus. A radical 180 of your life. Jesus takes over and runs your life for you. Us trying to be Godly will land us in Hell. Jesus, in us, keeping us truly Godly and in His will will land us in Heaven with our beloved Master and Savior. Its all about meeting Jesus, finding Jesus, giving Jesus your life, and then knowing its Him driving. Its about finding Him and a relationship with Him. NOT trying to obey rules, or sacrificing for Him. He doesn't need or want sacrifice....He wants YOU, all of you, all the time, for Him to come in and take over. That is true Godliness and the only way to do HIS WILL and go to Heaven. Out with sacrifice on to giving your life fully to Jesus. Jesus doesn't want a little sacrifice, He wants as Romans 12 says, a LIVING SACRIFICE. He wants you, all of you, all the time, PERIOD. You try and fall short. or Give Your life to Jesus and let Him drive forever. Radical Conversion. God, Jesus, Help us to do as Romans 12 says, to present our bodies as a living sacrifice Holy and acceptable to God and not to be conformed to this world but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds, in order to test and approve and know, God's good and perfect will. There has to be a certain point, moment, when we offer ourselves, once or all a living sacrifice. We pray to God to save us and read the Bible and ask seek and knock, seek with all our hearts and don't give up, then we give our life to Jesus. Then we can read His Word and renew our minds to know His True Will. Only the Born Again Person can truly to His will, because Jesus lives in them. Jesus help us not just do stuff for you, but be born again, so that You drive the car, and we know we are in Your will. We love You Jesus, in Jesus Name Amen. Love You Jesus Loves You!!! Have a GodlyGreatDay!!! The Apostle Paul says not to let sexual immorality even be named among you, as is proper among saints. All other sins are outside the body, but sexual sin is sin against your own body. This is a hard topic, but must be addressed. In the Jerusalem Council in Acts 15, they addressed the Gentile believers to abstain from blood and things strangled, worship of idols, and sexual immorality. Sexual purity is a HUGE thing in God's eyes. He says to gouge out your eye if it causes you to sin, rather than go to eternal fire. Paul says not even to eat with someone who says they are a Christian, but are sexually immoral. We can eat with pure Christians and unbelievers, but not someone claiming Christ, but in gross sin. Sexual sin is also mentioned several times in the Bible in lists of behaviors that will land you in Hell. This is because a True Born Again Christian has God living inside, and their whole self is aimed at purity and pleasing God. Plus God inside them won't allow it.
The Bible says in Proverbs: Above all else: guard your heart, for from it flows the springs of life. The heart is the key. We must ask ourselves what we need to stop watching or listening to, or what people we need to stop hanging out with, in order to guard our heart and keep our ways pure and please God. Thank you God for Your Purity, help us to be saved, and then to walk rightly before You, following You instead of ourselves. Help us to be very careful what we put into our heart. Thank You that You love us and that with You nothing is impossible. We love You Jesus. Love You Jesus Loves You!!! Have a GodlyGreatDay!!! |
