If I just get a little bit more money...
If I just buy a few more things... Find something to worry about a little bit... Find something to be angry about a little bit... Once I do that, then I will be ok... Once that is over, I will be ok... When I accomplish that, things will be good... Where is my next boyfriend or girlfriend... What is the next movie I will watch... The enemy attacks our hearts and minds. The enemy attacks with blatant sins and puts those thoughts in our head and heart. But he also attacks us with not being content and not focusing on Jesus. We obviously have to avoid blatant sins. But we also need to watch out for the things on the above list or things like them. We need to be content in Jesus. If we need something, to pray about it. We should stop looking for the next thing, because it never ends... We should ask Jesus what He wants us to do! He Loves Us So Much! He Is So Kind! As I said in a previous blog, the enemy will also tell you that you are worthless and you are pointless and your no good to anyone. The enemy will also say it has always been bad, it will always be bad, and it won't get better. The enemy will say sin is ok. The enemy will say you can't stop sinning. The enemy will say he is stronger than you and Jesus. The enemy will say you can't get saved. The enemy will say you don't have the power to live right. The enemy will say Jesus does'nt love you. The enemy will persecute you. The enemy will confuse and frustrate you. We know that Jesus loves us and is with us and is stronger than the enemy. The best way to combat lies is with Jesus living in you. Also through prayer, reading the Bible, and loving Christian fellowship. The Bible gives us the Truth and encouragement and points us to Jesus Who IS THE TRUTH! Jesus has given us Truth and Freedom, but it is to be used in a Holy way that loves Jesus and His people. Have a Godly Great Day!
